According to an old tradition, the women of the Bedouins in Oman and Yemen weave baskets from palm fibres and leather. We offer here small baskets woven in the shape of a calabash. The basket is closed with a lid made of a round piece of leather as a base for the wickerwork. A leather strap (probably goatskin) is woven in for decoration and is also used as a carrying handle.
The basket is suitable as gift packaging (e.g. for our incense (as offered here with 30 gr. al-hojari incense) or also for our oil) or for storing other small souvenirs from the Orient. The picture is only an example, each basket is unique.
As a tasting bag 30 gr of our Al-Hojari incense from Oman. A small gift from Oman that brings back memories. The scent of the incense and the wickerwork are both typical of Oman.
