According to ancient tradition, Bedouin women in Oman and Yemen weave baskets of palm fiber and leather. We offer here small baskets, which are braided in the form of a calabash. With a lid of a round piece of leather as the basis for the wickerwork, the basket is closed. A leather strap (probably goatskin) is interwoven with jewelry and is also used as a carrying handle.
The basket is suitable as a gift box (for example, for our frankincense or oil) or for storing other small gifts from the Orient.

The basket is handmade by Bedouins from Oman and Yemen. Oman is not an absolute low-wage country like many Asian countries. Therefore, arts and crafts from Oman have their price! But it is authentic!
