Incense burner and candle Mussandam-Mejmar
about 11cm high x 6cm in diameter in ceramic, painted with engobe (different clay colors) an ancient craft technique from Oman! This quite small but very beautiful burner is something special! Made only from natural materials, it is still used unchanged in everyday life. You get a piece of very primitive Oman home. The cute burner is intended for use in the room in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere.
These burners are made by men in a secluded village in the northern mountains of the Mussandam region of Oman. Their village can only be reached by boat.
The 5,000-year-old manufacturing method has remained unchanged to this day only in very rare cases.
The burner is filled with candle wax and wick at the time of purchase. This candle smells intensely of incense. After the candle is completely burned out, the burner can be used for incense with incense.
