This is first the basic substance frankincense hydrolate, which is produced during the distillation of frankincense oil. The hydrolate is always mixed with 5% alcohol to prevent germination. This would be dangerous for people with a weak constitution and immune system. The hydrolate can be used as a wonderful room spray, in summer to achieve a nice room climate and in winter to pleasantly humidify the room and create a fresh scent.
As incense liqueur, the frankincense is even drinkable. The liqueur is sweet and spicy with an intense frankincense flavour. 20% alcohol ensures that the liqueur does not spoil.
